Each piece here usually begins with a hike to a beautiful destination high in the mountains where few people go.  My intent is to find peace and solitude to clear my mind and escape the day-to-day grind.  My soul needs this change of pace more often that I indulge.  I often intend to capture breathtaking, large-format landscapes that reflect the serenity I find in these remote locations.
